Usually, there is a set screw that is used either on the top or bottom of the shelf to secure the shelf onto the pegs. To install the shelf, the back panel is secured to the wall, then the shelf is slid onto the pegs. The shelf will have openings for the pegs in the back. Pegs that are approximately the depth of the shelf stick out at a perpendicular or 90-degree angle. How is the Shelf Attached to the Wall? Each shelf comes with the mounting bracket, but you have to come up with screws and anchors on your own. They come in a few different lengths, but mine are 74 3/4″ long and were $19.99 each (they also come in different colors).
